Pittsfield's superb defense limits Rockridge and sends them to semis   December 29, 2016
Pittsfield ends Rockridge's 13 game tournament win streak
It was a defensive masterpiece from the Saukees as they defeated the three time defending champion and number one seeded Rockridge Rockets. Pittsfield held the Rocket's best two players to shoot 7 for 31.

Carson Frakes still managed to put up 21 for Rockridge with 9 coming from the line, with 10 rebounds.
For Pittsfield, Noah Mendenhall had 13 and 8 boards.

Rockridge's 13 straight games at the tournament is ended, and they will look to start that streak over tomorrow as they face off with Illini Bluffs at 10:30 at Western Halll.

Pittsfield advances to the semifinal round and will play Farmington at 2:30, also at Western Hall.
