By a vote of IHSA member schools, the multiplier (1.65) was reinstated. This time, however, the enrollment multiplier will be applied to all non-boundaried schools, regardless of size.

The IHSA announces they will adopt a four-class system in boys basketball to begin play in 2007-08.

Two tournament teams earn their way to the state quarterfinals in Peoria where Farmington defeated Brown County 43-35 before the Farmers would lose to North Lawndale (51-40) and Teutopolis (51-38) in the semifinals and 3rd place game, respectively.

Monmouth-Roseville brings home a Sectional championship after defeating Olympic Conference foe Orion 51-49. The Titans' season came to a close to Savanna (West Carroll), 58-50, in the Moline Supersectional.
